I don't post much here...just thought I would show this simple vector illustration I did of a '58 Chevy kustom... hope you guys like it, even though it's not really what you guys are about here.

Sure it is - I love seeing the vector stuff you're doing! I would have loved to see a class specifically in that in our program, it's crazy useful to be able to rock the beziér. |

I like vectors! I do a lot of them at work, in illustrator and flash.
Looks really nice btw, reminds me of the old 1950's ads or something like that. |

Yeah, this is awesome, and I'd actually love to see MORE vector art on this site.
So you can consider yourself the Rosa Parks of vector art. |

This is dope!
I've been messing around with vector illustration lately. It's a lot tougher than it looks. |

I thought I would resurrect this thread. I love vector artwork and would like to see what you folks have been doing with it. I've been doing a lot lately, more so than digital painting. Here's some Tiny Mutant Ninja Turtles. I may throw these into Flash and see what I can do.

I hate vector artwork, I HATE doing it with a PASSION... AHHHHH they suck! It feels SO un artistick! meh, that said, they look pretty and they are definitely the way to go when you need something to look clean. And they are especially usefully when you need to kick out a graphic at various resolutions when doing game artwork for cell phones (stupid arbitrary screen sized, ARRRG)
Here's one I did for that Android phone game I worked on ( http://www.tojamgames.com/):
And here's vector logo I did for a client recently:
Speaking of vector artwork, any of you guys use Inkscape? That's what I did both of those with. It is free in all of it's openy source goodness. and has some great feature!
here's a link if you want to check it out: http://www.inkscape.org/download/?lang=en |

Oh and nice Turtles Ryan. You've always had a great nack for that graphic styling.
I tend to suck at it... probably another reason why I hate doing vector work so much |

Does anyone still check this site? Downtown, I love your Joe character. Hilarious!
Here is a poster I did for a family video tournament. I wanted to go for a minimalistic, two color, vintage poster approach.
